    "content": "Shipping Last updated: August 2026 Delivery charges Delivery is free on orders of AED 200 or more . Below that, a flat AED 40 express delivery charge applies. The charge is shown in the cart before you pay, and discount codes never change it: a code discounts the goods, not the delivery. Delivery times We aim to hand your order to the courier within 24 to 48 hours of you placing it. Delivery within the UAE usually takes 5 to 7 days from dispatch. We deliver to all seven emirates, including the outlying areas listed in the footer of every page. Tracking You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order ships. You can follow it on our Track Your Parcel page. For logistical reasons, items in the same order may arrive in separate packages. If something goes wrong If your order is late, incomplete or arrives damaged, contact us at theteam@insectscreens.ae.org and we will put it right. Your rights under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection are not affected by anything on this page.",

    "content": "Refunds & Returns Last updated: August 2026 Our 15-day return policy You can return a product within 15 days of receiving it for an exchange or a refund of the product price (delivery and handling charges are not refunded). This window is our own commercial policy: UAE law does not impose a general cooling-off period for online purchases, so we offer this voluntarily, and this page is the record of exactly what we offer. To be eligible, the product must be unopened and in its original packaging, and you need the order confirmation or another proof of purchase from this website. Returns are sent back to the warehouse your order came from, at your cost. We cannot accept returns of purchases made from third-party retailers. Cancelling an order You can cancel any order until it ships. If your order has been paid and you need to change or cancel it, contact us within 12 hours of placing it. Once packing and shipping has started, the order can no longer be cancelled and the 15-day return policy above applies instead. Your refund We process refunds within 24 to 48 hours of the returned item reaching the warehouse, to your original payment method. If you prefer, we can hold the amount as credit against a future order instead. Screens made to your measurements A screen made to the measurements you give us through our quote service is made to your own specification, so the voluntary return window above does not apply once we have started making it. We say this on the quote form too. A standard size that you cut down yourself at home is different: it keeps the full return window until you cut it. Damaged or defective goods If a product arrives damaged or turns out to be defective, none of the limits above apply. Under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023, you are entitled to have a defective product repaired, replaced or refunded. Contact us at theteam@insectscreens.ae.org with your order number and a photo of the problem and we will put it right. Complaints If you feel we have not resolved something properly, you can raise a consumer complaint with the consumer protection department of the UAE Ministry of Economy.",

    "content": "Privacy Policy Last updated: August 2026 The law this policy follows We handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (the PDPL), supervised by the UAE Data Office. The PDPL's executive regulations had not yet been issued when this policy was last updated, so where detail is still to be settled we follow the law's stated principles: collecting only what we need, using it only for the purpose we collected it for, and keeping it secure. What we collect and why When you order, we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, because we cannot fulfil an order without them. When you use our contact or quote forms we collect what you type into them. We use this information to fulfil your order, respond to you, and keep the accounting records the law requires. Payments Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. Your full card details go to the payment provider, not to us; we never see or store them. Cookies and analytics We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and it only runs if you accept it in our cookie banner. Details are in our Cookie Policy . Who we share data with We share your delivery details with the courier delivering your order, and order data with the payment provider you chose. We do not sell personal data. How long we keep it Order records are kept as long as accounting and tax law requires. Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and a reasonable period afterwards. Your rights Under the PDPL you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we no longer have a legal reason to keep it.
